This is our first electric bass, a four-string PJ bass with an alder body painted black and a purple heart top. It has a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. We started out with a kit that we got and reworked it, added the top and refit things…

The purple heart has lost a little of the original brightness, but it’s still really beautiful.
